History: In 1967, St.Kitts along with Nevis achieved Associated Statehood from Britain. It later went on to become part of an independent nation on September 19, 1983. St.Kitts now forms part of the sovereign democratic state of St. Christopher and Nevis. It has the unique constitutional arrangement of being part of the Federal Parliament while having a separate parliament and its own St.Kitts Island Administration headed by a Premier.
Climate: St. Kitts has a tropical savanna climate and Nevis has a tropical monsoon climate. The average daily is from 23.9 °C (75.0 °F) to 26.6 °C (79.9 °F)
