When your cruise ship docks in port, get a comprehensive overview of Nassau’s cultural heritage on this 3.5-hour shore excursion. Attractions include the Cave of New Providence, the Ardastra Gardens, and Fort Charlotte. Stop at Junkanoo Beach and use the provided snorkel equipment to explore the underwater world. Port pickup and drop-off included.
Begin your tour with convenient pickup at the Nassau cruise port at your selected tour time; choose 10am or 1pm at checkout. Meet your guide and group, then climb into an air-conditioned minivan, where you’ll get your complimentary souvenir. Gaze out the windows as you drive through the historic city of Nassau, past the Magna Carta Court and the pink and white parliament building.
Stop at the Graycliff Chocolate and Cigar Factory, where you can see how the chocolate is made in addition to sampling one of the 17 different flavors. Then, continue on to Fort Charlotte, the largest in the Bahamas, which dates back to the late 1700s. Tour the inside with your guide, including an arsenal and panoramic views of the island.
Next up is the Ardastra Gardens, Zoo, and Conservation Centre, which is home to more than 200 animals in a tropical forest setting. Visit a local fruit stand for some seasonal produce, then on to Cable Beach for some shopping at the Mimi Straw Market and an included daiquiri.
The tour’s last stop is Junkanoo Beach, home to the impressive Cave of New Providence, once believed to be a lair for marauding pirates. Stroll around inside and take some photos, before optint to hop back on the transport to the port or ending your tour at the beach with some snorkeling (snorkeling equipment provided).

Complimentary hotel and Port pickup is available. A 24 hour notice is required for pickup service for all hotel customers. Cruise ship customers can walk-through the Festival Place Building Pass Hair Braiding Center exit out of the port gate. Cross the street onto the sidewalk to the left in front of the pink and white former tourist information building then walk down to the water fountain. All staff members wear orange shirt will be holding a sign that read ( Tyrone Wilson’s Nassau shore excursions. ) TOUR BEGINS AT 9:30am AND 1 p.m. Private tours and walk-in are welcome.
