1. Celebrate the St. Kitts & Nevis National Carnival – Sugar Mas 46 (Sat, November 17, 2018 – Sun, January 6, 2019)
Participate and catch the splendour of Sugar Mas – St. Kitts and Nevis Carnival 2018.
The event is the biggest and culminates the end of the year celebration of the islands.
Get ready to dance and wave as the streets are littered with colorful parades, street performances and vibrant processions.
Don’t blink lest you miss the Moko-Jumbies dancing expertly on stilts. Clowns and troupes from all over the islands will show their frenzied dancing – to the beat of calypso and socal music, of course!
Expect talented teen contestants and the Carnival Queen to likewise parade their dazzling costumes, which took months to create.
Likewise, get you cameras ready for J’ouvert, when the streets of Basseterre are filled with costumed dancers on Boxing Day.
There’s also the Senior Calypso Show and the National Carnival Queen Pageant. To cap the month and half long celebrations: the traditional Grand Parade slated on the 1st of January.
